Can I donate to the Foundation?

Absolutely! We accept donations by credit card, check and Venmo. Donations over $100 can also be done by direct withdrawal (ACH) from your bank account. Thank you for your generosity.

How is the Foundation supported?

Through generous donations by the residents and businesses of the area.

Is all information as a donor kept confidential?

Yes.

Is my donation tax deductible?

We are a 501 (c) (3) organization. So, donations are eligible for tax deduction according to IRS rules and your personal filing situation. Please seek advice from a tax professional for more specific information.

Under what name does my electronic transaction show up?

All electronic transactions will show up under “GiveButter”. GiveButter is a site that assists not-for-profit organizations such as our foundation collect funds electronically while still complying with all of the Federal and banking laws and protocols required.

What percentage of my donation goes directly to providing scholarships?

Nearly 100% goes towards scholarships. If you give using a credit card, you help lower the foundation’s costs if you agree to pay the credit card transaction fees for us. Other than that we spend a few dollars each year on this website.
